Entrance of the Castle Ruins

Once on top, here is part of the castle, you can't walk on.

Looking down from top...Center of middle level...we think this was a gathering spot way back when.

The sunset from our tent.

The sunset from the beach

Wendy and the girls...right before the sun went down.

Jammie helping Lacie mini golfing.

Kaytlin golfing.

Saw the statue of the bear, and Lacie is always making this pose...so, Jammie took a picture of both. Too cute.

Kaytlin and Lacie getting in the water.

Lacie playing in the sand.

Camping at Okuma

Here is Jammie figuring out the tent....Wow, that was fun!!:)

This was the view we had from our camp site.

The girls on the beach.

Okuma South Beach. This is the beach at the Family Camping Area where we stayed..it was only about 100 yards away.

Okinawa World

This was part of the Eisa Dance. Always wanted to see one of these dragons, and I finally have.

Eisa dance with the drummers. These guys and girls did an excellent job.

Here is a tree with nothing but Habu Snakes in it. There were more trees in this pit...This was only one branch of one of the trees. Only stayed for a minute.

Okinawa World

In the Traditional Crafts Village, an Okinawan Lady gave the girls drums, and was playing with Lacie and Kaytlin. Lacie really got into it with the lady....they had a blast.

Jammie and the Girls.

Wendy and the girls in front of a Shi-Shi dog.

These are REAL Habu snakes simmering in Sake. Habu Sake is real popular here. I tasted it when we went to Okinawa World, and it was real good....sweet.

Gyokusendo Cave at Okinawa World

This is the cave you walk through at Okinawa World. You can walk through it for about 890 meters. It was all very pretty with the stalactites, and stalagmites.

The blue tape is actually pointing to artifacts found in the stone. These are pointing to bones, and they are still finding more with the discovery of the cave. They are still doing "digs" and finding more artifacts all the time.

This is one of the little waterfall areas.

This is called "Cup of Gold". It is called that, because of hte glittery sheen that looks like gold, and the way it looks form the top, it looks like a cup running over. Very pretty.

sites to see

Kaytlin and Lacie at Sunabe Beach

This is Meada Flats at low,low tide..

Meada Flats

Walked out on coral at Maeda Flats and at the very end by the ocean water, we found a blue sea star. Lacie wanted to hold it so bad....Kaytlin wanted nothing to do with it, but to see how pretty it is.

Kirashiki Dam

This is a view of Kirashiki Dam...
down the stairs is running water and a waterfall kids and us of course, can play in.

That is the waterfall, and shallow river you can play in behind Jammie and the girls.

Me and the girls on the bridge.

This is out of a look out tower you can go up. It is 41 meters tall.

Another view from the tower of the Dam

This is another view from the tower of the Dam to the right. The building had some neat things inside..fun science stuff for the girls that had to do with water.
